Saints Power Past Andrews, 75–64, to Open November with a Home Victory

Holy Cross protected home court on Saturday night, defeating Andrews University 75–64 inside a loud McKenna Arena. The Saints used a dominant night on the glass, balanced scoring, and a strong defensive effort to secure the win.

After taking a 37–31 lead into halftime, the Saints continued to control the pace in the second half, outscoring Andrews 38–33 and never allowing the Cardinals to cut the margin below two possessions.

Jayden Sanders was the standout performer of the night, delivering a massive double-double with 21 points and 17 rebounds while shooting efficiently around the basket. He was relentless on the boards, helping Holy Cross finish with a commanding 44–33 rebounding advantage.

AJ Roseman ran the offense with poise, finishing with 19 points and 6 assists, while Donovan Waleskowski added 20 points and knocked down four of threes to keep the momentum rolling. In total, eight Saints scored, showcasing the team's depth.

Holy Cross shot 38.2% from the field and knocked down 7 three-pointers on the night. Defensively, the Saints held Andrews to just 35.7% shooting and forced the Cardinals into tough looks from beyond the arc (8-of-29).

Second-chance scoring proved to be the difference, as the Saints turned 12 offensive rebounds into key putbacks and extra possessions.

With the victory, Holy Cross moves to 2–0 and continues its early-season momentum heading into their next matchup at Bethel University on November 4th, tipoff is set for 7pm.
