Saints Earn Fourth Win with Strong Second Half Against St. Mary-of-the-Woods

The Holy Cross men's basketball team improved to 4–1 on the season after a hard-fought 92–88 victory over St. Mary-of-the-Woods on Saturday at IUNW.

Trailing by seven at halftime, the Saints surged in the second half, outscoring the Pomeroys 54–43 to complete the comeback.

Jayden Sanders led the way with a game-high 26 points, going 12-for-15 from the free throw line and adding six rebounds and four assists.

AJ Roseman followed with 15 points, while Donovan Waleskowski filled the stat sheet with 14 points, six assists, and three rebounds.

Davide Brembilla delivered a strong performance inside with 13 points and eight rebounds, and Beau Barhams added 11 points and six boards. Off the bench, Asher Puhalski provided a spark with seven points, including a key three-pointer late in the game.

As a team, the Saints shot an impressive 56.4% from the field and 47.1% from beyond the arc, while connecting on 22-of-30 free throws (73.3%).

The balanced offensive attack and second-half composure helped Holy Cross secure its fourth win of the season and continue its strong early-season momentum.

The Saints will look to continue their winning streak heading into their next matchup, away, against Taylor University on Friday November 14th. Tipoff is set for 7:00!
