2025–26 MEN’S BASKETBALL POSTSEASON AWARDS

 The 2025–26 season was marked by individual milestones, conference recognition, and continued growth within the men's basketball program. Three student-athletes earned postseason distinction after standout performances that helped define the year.

Donovan Waleskowski

Freshman Guard | Cincinnati, Ohio
CCAC Freshman of the Year | All Freshman Team

Donovan Waleskowski delivered an exceptional first collegiate season, earning CCAC Freshman of the Year honors after emerging as one of the conference's most dynamic newcomers.

He averaged 15.0 points per game (15th in the league), fueled by 50 three-pointers (11th) and 111 free throws made, the second-most in the conference. His .799 free throw percentage ranked fourth-best in the league.

Waleskowski finished the year with 421 total points, appearing in all 28 games and making 24 starts. He also contributed 133 total rebounds (107 defensive, 26 offensive), along with 15 steals and 5 blocks, showcasing his all-around ability and impact on both ends of the floor.

Joey Garwood

Junior Guard | Elkhart, Indiana

Second-Team All Conference

Joey Garwood added his name to an elite list this season, surpassing 1,000 career points and cementing his legacy within the program.

In 13 games, Garwood totaled 285 points, starting and appearing in every contest. He added 49 rebounds (38 defensive, 11 offensive), along with 23 steals, 18 assists and 1 block, continuing to contribute in multiple areas of the game.

Reaching the 1,000-point milestone is a reflection of his consistency and scoring ability throughout his collegiate career, as well as his leadership within the program.

Jayden Sanders

Junior Forward | Evansville, Indiana

Honorable Mention All Conference

Jayden Sanders also reached a significant career milestone this season, scoring his 1,000th career point while delivering one of his most complete seasons to date.

Sanders finished with 425 total points, appearing in 24 games and earning 21 starts. He was a steady presence in the frontcourt, totaling 154 rebounds (115 defensive, 39 offensive), while adding 64 assists, 17 blocks, and 17 steals.

His ability to score, facilitate, and defend made him one of the team's most versatile contributors throughout the year. Reaching the 1,000-point mark further highlights the consistency and impact he has brought to the program over his career.

With a conference Freshman of the Year and two players surpassing the 1,000-career-point milestone, the 2025–26 season showcased both emerging talent and established leadership. The foundation built this year positions the program for continued success moving forward.
