Holy Cross Men’s Golf Opens Fall Season at Pretty Lake Intercollegiate

The Holy Cross Men's Golf team opened their fall season at the Pretty Lake Intercollegiate, hosted by Bethel University. The two-day tournament tested the Saints across 54 holes: 36 on a demanding first day and 18 more on day two, challenging both their endurance and consistency.

The course at Pretty Lake Golf Club proved to be a tough opponent, with narrow fairways and thick rough forcing players to stay sharp on every shot. The Saints battled throughout, showing strong focus against a competitive field.

Sophomore Braeden Rooney paced Holy Cross with steady rounds of 77, 74, and 77, finishing as the team's low scorer for the tournament.

The Saints placed 8th out of 10 teams overall. The event provided a solid starting point and valuable experience for the rest of the fall season.
