The Holy Cross Men's Tennis team earned a 5–2 victory over Goshen on March 7, improving to 4–2 on the season after a strong performance at home.
The Saints opened the match by securing the doubles point, winning two of the three contests. The No. 1 doubles pair of Luca McManus and Matthew Jezyk picked up a 6–4 win, while Oscar Wai and Hugh O'Sullivan followed with another 6–4 victory at the No. 3 position to give Holy Cross the early advantage heading into singles play.
Holy Cross carried that momentum into singles competition, winning four of the six matches. Oscar Wai led the way at the No. 1 spot with a dominant 6–0, 6–4 win. Matthew Jezyk added another point for the Saints with a convincing 6–2, 6–3 victory at No. 3 singles. Naithaolin Golmei also earned a straight-set win at No. 5 singles, defeating his opponent 6–4, 6–4. Diego Blanco Goytia closed out the Saints' scoring with a strong 6–3, 6–2 win at the No. 6 position.
