The Saints came out strong in doubles play, capturing the opening point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3. The duo of Naithaolin Golmei and Thomas Friesen set the tone with a decisive 6-0 victory, while Oscar Wai and Hugh O'Sullivan followed it up with a 6-1 win to give Holy Cross an early 1-0 advantage.
