Saints Fall 2–0 on the Road to Bethel

Mishawaka, Ind. – The Holy Cross College women's soccer team battled hard on Thursday night but came up short in a 2–0 loss to Bethel University at Morey Field.

The Pilots struck first midway through the opening half to take a 1–0 lead into halftime. Holy Cross generated chances in response, with Miriam Iturriaga-San and Yuki Mita each putting shots on target, but the Saints couldn't find the equalizer.

In the second half, Bethel added another goal in the 72nd minute to extend their lead. The Saints continued to push forward, with Iturriaga-San forcing a late save from the Piolets, but the comeback effort fell short.

With the result, Holy Cross moves to 0-3-0 on the season.

The Saints will look to bounce back on Wednesday September 30th against Goshen College. Kickoff is set for 5PM
