Saints Win Second-Consecutive Title
Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross College 20th ranked women's tennis team hosted the Lakers of Roosevelt University this afternoon in the CCAC Tournament Final. The Championship was held at the Eck Tennis Pavilion on the campus of the University of Notre Dame.
The Saints came away with the 4-0 victory to claim their second-consecutive CCAC Tournament Title. The Saints took the doubles point by securing wins in No.1 doubles (Carvalho-Landell/Martinez) and No. 2 doubles (Beer/Savvidou). Maria Sanchez won her No. 2 singles match 6-3, 6-1, whiles Nicole Martinez and Diane Maillotte secured the point in their No. 4 and No. 6 matches.
