Women's Tennis CCAC Post Season Awards

Holy Cross once again showcased one of the premier women's tennis programs in the conference, highlighted by another historic season from Viktoria Savvidou, who earned Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year honors for the third consecutive season.

The senior from Limassol, Cyprus continued her dominance on both the conference and national stages throughout the 2025 campaign. Savvidou captured the ITA Regional Championship for the third straight year before advancing to the ITA National Championships, where she placed 12th nationally during the fall season. A three-time NAIA All-American, Savvidou entered the NAIA National Championships with a 17-11 overall singles record while reaching as high as No. 16 in the national singles rankings. She also climbed to No. 31 nationally in doubles competition.

Savvidou earned All-Conference singles recognition alongside teammates Sofia Rocha and Leah Gonzales-Edwards. Rocha repeated as an All-Conference singles selection after another strong campaign for the Saints.

In doubles play, Savvidou collected her fourth consecutive All-Conference doubles honor while partnering with Gonzales-Edwards, who earned doubles recognition for the second straight season. Holy Cross also saw the tandem of Rocha and Nicole Martinez repeat as All-Conference selections, with Rocha earning her second doubles honor and Martinez her third.

The Saints also claimed the conference's Freshman of the Year award, as Virginie Francois earned the distinction following an impressive debut season. Francois compiled a combined 10-7 record competing at the No. 5 and No. 6 singles positions while also posting a 4-2 mark at No. 3 doubles.

The postseason honors further reflected the sustained excellence and depth of the Holy Cross women's tennis program throughout the 2026 season.
