Four Saints Earn CCAC All-Conference Honors; Magagula Named Coach of the Year

Notre Dame, Ind. —Four members of the Holy Cross College women's soccer team have earned Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) All-Conference recognition following a historic 2024 season that saw the Saints advance to the CCAC semifinals and qualify for their first-ever NAIA National Tournament appearance.

In addition to the player honors, junior Frances Parks was named the CCAC Newcomer of the Year, and Head Coach Duma Magagula was selected as the CCAC Coach of the Year, marking a banner season for the Holy Cross program.

First Team All-Conference
Abigail Fouts, a junior defender from Russiaville, Indiana, anchored the Saints' back line all season. Starting all 19 games, Fouts provided both defensive stability and offensive production, netting 5 goals and totaling 10 points on the year. Her leadership, consistency, and ability to step up in crucial moments made her one of the most dependable players on the field.

Frances Parks, a junior forward from Mishawaka, Indiana, was a driving force in the Saints' attack. In 15 appearances and 12 starts, Parks led the team with 9 goals and added 1 assist, finishing the season with 19 total points. She posted a .205 shot percentage, converted 2-of-3 penalty kicks, and tallied two game-winning goals. Her scoring presence was instrumental in guiding Holy Cross to one of its most successful seasons to date.

Second Team All-Conference
Erika Perez, a junior midfielder from Elkhart, Indiana, was a steady contributor in the center of the field for Holy Cross. Appearing in 18 games with 13 starts, Perez recorded 3 goals and 1 assist for 7 total points, while adding a composed presence in both attack and transition. Her reliability and vision made her a key link between the Saints' defense and offense.

Quinn Pankiewics, a freshman defender from Mishawaka, Indiana, made an immediate impact in her debut season. Starting 15 of 17 games, Pankiewics contributed on both sides of the ball, tallying 3 goals and 6 assists for 12 total points while providing solid defensive coverage. Her performance as a first-year player earned her a well-deserved spot on the All-Conference Second Team and marked her as one of the top young defenders in the league.

Under Coach Magagula's leadership in just his second season at the helm, the Saints reached new heights, posting one of the strongest records in program history and earning national recognition with their first-ever NAIA National Tournament appearance — a milestone achievement for Holy Cross College women's soccer.
